Railpath is unique in that it goes beyond traditional public park funding models by leveraging funds from businesses, private foundations and government sources. Railpath is also unique because it will be a massive sustainable transportation artery running diagonally across the City’s street grid as well as a linear park. Railpath has brought together local neighbourhood groups, resident’s associations, business owners, park planners, transportation planners and, of course, Evergreen and the Community Bicycle Network.
